Known for being the oldest saddle horse among all breeds, with more than five thousand years of service to man in agriculture, hunting and battles. Centuries of selection have made the Lusitano a very versatile horse, capable of doing almost anything, developing skills for different equestrian disciplines. The Lusitano proves to be excellent in bullfighting, classical riding, and currently in federated equestrian disciplines such as dressage, obstacles, driving and especially in working riding, being the best in the world in this discipline.
